Every day we share a single photo from our Flickr Pool shot by one of our faithful and talented readers (that’s you!)
Well, today is the big day. The day when more candy changes hands than any other on the calendar, the day when lighters and matches are in more demand than they have been since the 1970's, and the day that cats and dogs fear as much as little kids cannot sit still in anticipation of.
The unofficial Halloween, the Halloween for grown-up kids, took place over the past weekend, and that was the source of today's photograph. Jorge Ligason was right down in the thick of it all Saturday night, checking out the scene on Granville Street. Jorge reports with a photo of some amazing face-painting that he observed, in an image he has titled From an Artist's Eye - "The Tattooed Zombie".
Take care and be safe tonight everybody. And if you drive, please keep an eye out for the little ones - their exuberance towards candy can often cause them to forget everything they have ever been told about safety!
