Dubbed Vancouver's most stylish event, The Cup will return for an afternoon of horse racing, fashion, music, food, and cocktails at Hastings Racecourse on July 20, 2024

Considered one of the city's chicest summertime gatherings, The Cup is set to return to Hastings Racecourse this summer for an afternoon of fashion, food, and fun...and horses.

Taking place on Saturday, July 20, The Cup (which was previously known as The Deighton Cup) will feature plenty for Vancouver's most stylish fun-seekers to enjoy.

This year, The Cup is upping its game when it comes to the event's culinary offerings. The event will feature a Michelin Star Trackside dining experience, with delectable eats from Chinatown's acclaimed (and one-starred) Kissa Tanto.

For libations, The Cup will bring the 70s vibes to its Pop-Up Speakeasy and Cocktail Jockey competition. Top mixologists will be pouring for guests in an exclusive 200-person lounge that will have "a retro-cool vibe with visual art installations and classic vinyl DJ sets," offering The Cup-goers "a stylish retreat."

Speaking of style, The Cup is known for guests turning up in eye-catching outfits as a nod to the elegant and sometimes over-the-top fashion of high-profile horse racing.

For 2024, The Cup will have an expanded Fashion Marketplace showcasing over 25 lifestyle brands, styled as a "shop and sip" zone. This is where guests can enjoy the "Style Stakes Fashion Competition," portrait studio, and beauty bar.

To round out the festivities, there will be music from DJs and the live band Yongbombs.

"We consistently work to make the event better and more fun each year. The Fashion Marketplace will add a whole new level of buzz to the atmosphere and the food will be the best yet. With the music line-up, no matter where you are in the event, The Cup will have a great summer vibe.” said Tyson Villeneuve, Co-founder of The Cup.

Pre-sale tickets start at $65 each; anyone interested in purchasing tickets should sign up online for access. Regular admission is $95.
