Schema Mag and the Museum of Vancouver (MOV) present the legendary giants of Giant Robot magazine, Eric Nakamura and Martin Wong at the MOV Thursday, May 20 for a free speaking engagement via broadband for the 5th edition of the iWriteAboutMe workshop. For 15 years and running, Nakamura and Wong have cooked the fresh slice on Asian & Asian American pop culture and also importantly beyond that to cool stuff in general. Times have been tough on the print mags everywhere and this DIY movement hasnt been imune to that. For any fans of the GR mag, lend a helping buck here to keep the vibe alive. Schema & Sammie Jo Productions will also be throwin down a GR fund raisin jam at Fortune Sound next Thursday, May 27 with the Boombox Saints, Bles-sed, Nina Mendoza, Krown and Style-o-Phonics.
