We know you love Vancouver as much as we do—you don’t have to deny it. We also know you have a soft spot for democracy and a vested interest in your community and future. There’s a little something called an election happening today and Get Your Vote On wants to remind you of it, ensure you’re informed, accompany you to your polling station and celebrate your efforts, and capture the election day goodness—all fully "hashtagable" efforts, of course.

Vote2Go: Caffeinated masses, we want to hear from you! Get Your Vote On has supplied local businesses with attractive 2-inch stickers designed by local artist Jordan Bent. The sticker will display the Twitter hash tag (#vanelxn) for the online discussion of the election, and direct them to getyourvoteon.ca to find non-partisan voter resources like platform information for the candidates on issues that matter to young voters (Say What?). If you happen to come across a Vote2Go cup today, tweet your photo to @GYVOca using the hash tag, #Vote2Go |
![]() | Say What? : A Voter Primer for Young Folks is a place where voters can read, tweet, and share what the candidates stand for on 10 issues: Homelessness, Affordable Housing, Jobs, The Arts, Public Spaces, Transportation, Land Use, New Immigrants, the Environment, and Education. #SayWhat |
![]() | Bike2Ballots: We’ve been profiling the wonderful people who want to take you all the way to your polling station on tandem bikes: Eddie Rothschild, Lee Henderson ‘Foss’, Adrian Sinclair, and Andrea Curtis. If you notice any of these riders around town, be sure to say hello and snap a photo of them while you’re at it. #Bike2Ballots |
![]() | Vote Car: Let’s make November 19 one big election party. Watch out for the Get Your Vote On street team and vintage “vote car” decked out in yellow, pink, and black. Who says elections can’t be fun? #VoteCar |
![]() | VotoBooth: Remember when we first profiled this Get Your Vote On and Tin Can Studio collaboration? Don’t fret if you didn’t catch the VotoBooth on the first day of advance polling. It's making its return today to commemorate your special election day moment! |
Happy Election Day, everyone! (There's still 2.5 hours left to VOTE!)
