Vancouver's buzzing film industry means locals can catch a sneak peek of the hottest shows, snag photos with actors, and witness mind-blowing stunts and sets. 

This winter the city will see all sorts of film sets, from superhero shows and pilot episodes to new feature films and final seasons. 

Here is what's filming in Vancouver this winter:

Movies filming in Vancouver 

Longlegs

Cast: Nicolas Cage

Premise: Though the plot details for the upcoming horror-thriller film are being kept under wraps, producers say that the movie will be likewise of classic Hollywood psychological thrillers. Nicolas Cage fans can expect to see the star in Vancouver over the next few months. 

Filming until February 23.

Never Let Go

Cast: Halle Berry

A new thriller called Mother Land (working title is Never Let Go) stars Halle Berry as the mother of an isolated family in the woods who has been haunted by an evil spirit. Filming is set to begin in late March. 

Filming until May 5. 

TV series filming in-and-around Vancouver 

Yellowjackets (season 2) 

The show has been renewed for a third season ahead of the season 2 premiere this spring. Yellowjackets follows a talented high school girl soccer team after they survive a plane crash in the Canadian wilderness. Christina Ricci, who is known for her character Wednesday in The Adams Family TV series, stars in the show alongside Melanie Lynskey and Tawny Cypress.

Filming until February 17.

Superman & Lois (season 3)

The popular superhero series is often seen filming around the city and will wrap up its third season in the spring. The TV show, starring Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, and Alex Garfin (who performed his first solo gig at a local pub), follows the world's most famous superhero and journalist as they find a work-life-justice balance. 

Filming until March 13.

The Good Doctor (season 6)

The show is currently filming its sixth season in Vancouver and has been neither cancelled or renewed for a next season. The series stars Freddie Highmore as Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and Savant syndrome.

Filming until April 17.

Resident Alien (season 3)

Alan Tudyk is cast as an alien that crash-landed in a small Colorado town with a secret mission to kill all humans. The show's upcoming third season, which is currently in the works, has been cut down from 12 episodes to eight.

TV shows wrapping up their final season

A Million Little Things (season 5) 

The popular drama show first aired in 2018 and is now filming its final season in Vancouver. 

Filming until March 3.

The Flash (season 9)

The superhero show is wrapping up its ninth and final season after nearly a decade of filming in Vancouver. Grant Gustin stars as Barry Allen who discovers new superpowers after being struck by lighting. Locals saw various stunts take place around town throughout filming. 

Filming until March 6.

Riverdale (season 7)

The popular show is known for its Vancouver-based film sets and wild plot. Locals can visit the more famous "Vancouverdale" landmarks around the city. 

Filming until June 23.

New TV shows filming their first season

The Answers (pilot) - filming until February 10.

The Hurt Unit - filming until March 11.

Dead Boy Detectives - filming until March 20.

Port Lawrence 93 - filming until March 31.

So Help Me Todd - filming until April 10.

Fire Country - filming until April 5.

Under The Bridge - filming until April 17.
