Busy first week of the Olympics, including Cultural Olympiad shows and so many free shows. I managed to catch 5 Olympiad shows and on Friday also ran over to the Eco Fashion Week show.

Over the past few months I have repeatedly told you how awesome I think Vancouver musician Dan Mangan is and how you should run and check out his music any chance you get.

Contrary to our original plan of simply gleaning peripheral stories here and there, we've actually got quite a bit of coverage of the 2010 Games planned for next month.

Busy with some stuff until last Wed night, finally got myself out to experience the city's O-Faces and seems like hype is carrying on thru beyond official Olympic events.

I went down to the BC Pavillion and checked out some of the digital installations that they've got there.

Day 10! We're into the double digits now and half way through the Photography category's showing. Today has been very Olympic-y at Shine, starting off with Ski Cross and hockey, now curling is on and some people have showed up for pre-Canada vs.

Okay, so you've obviously been seeing a lot of these red mittens, worn by all 12,000 of the folks who took the Olympic torch across Canada, through more than 1,000 communities, around town.

Day Nine at An Awesome Showcase started off a little strange... Sarah, our bartender for day, came running out from behind the bar a little freaked out.
