I know this is a little late, well, very late... but the West Vancouver Community Day Parade is tomorrow from 9 - 12 am! They're shutting down Marine Drive all the way from the newly built Rec Centre (definately worth a look) to Ambleside Beach.

Tomorrow between 9am-2pm they close down Hastings between Boundary and Gamma for their annual block party. There's a parade, tons of free samples, and last year I think I saw some droids. Just when I start missing the Salmon Festival....

WHAT MAKES YOU ALMOST FAMOUS IN VANCOUVER ? This one time when I was like 11 years old my friend and I went to the video store to rent The Jackal on tape.

So Play Land is now on and the PNE is its in its 99th year this year with the 100th anniversary going down in 2010.
