Welcome to another "Fresh Sheet" update featuring take out and delivery options from restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and more across Metro Vancouver.

Looking for Easter weekend eats and treats? Peep our round-up here for sweets and dinner bundle ideas...but you'll have to act fast, because these days there's no such thing as last minute!

I've said it before, and I'll keep saying: There's some damn awesome stuff happening with Vancouver's incredible restaurants right now, and if you can, please support them. They won't all survive.

I have heard from some small local restaurants they have been able to hire back staff thanks to the demand, which means people are able to get back to work. Incredible! We're also seeing restaurants add grocery options, more meals like brunch, or ready-to-cook kits that let you skip the shopping but enjoy putting together a restaurant-quality meal at home. What has happened in these few short weeks among the region's dedicated restaurant owners and staff is nothing short of inspiring.

This is a marathon, though, and not a sprint. We want these incredible restaurants to be here for us when we are all able to go out and enjoy them as intended once again. Let's do this, Vancouver!

I've been working to keep you updated on what different restaurants and food businesses are doing at this time. You can read more about some options here:

Additionally, please use the excellent website Breaking Bread to connect directly to restaurants and order food, as well as purchase gift certificates and merchandise.

As emails and DMs come in from restaurants and food businesses, or as I am able to track them via social media, I am rounding them up here regularly to keep you informed.

Bear in mind that due to the COVID-19 crisis, things may change rapidly. Please connect directly with the restaurant via phone, email, website, or social media, before making plans that depend upon their offerings being available.
