Dine inside a private heated dome along Vancouver's scenic Coal Harbour waterfront for a cozy wintertime experience called Winterlust.

Your chance to enjoy an elegant meal while seated inside an illuminated dome in Vancouver's Coal Harbour returns for the season this October.

Called Winterlust, the "dome dining" experience debuted in 2019 on the patio of H Tasting Lounge at the Westin Bayshore. This fall and winter you can book a table inside the eye-catching domes for an elegant, ethereal meal from Oct. 30 through December.

This winter, the traditionally Alpine-fitted domes will integrate celestial-inspired elements so you can have a more otherworldly dining experience. Details like a shimmering star-motif chandelier and matching centrepiece and climbing greenery have been added to the dome design - all of which offer views of the waterfront and majestic North Shore mountains across the inlet. Each dome is hooked up to an independent sound system, too, as well as a heater for those chilly Vancouver days and nights.

The domes seat a maximum of six guests and are available to book for lunch and dinner daily, though pricing varies based on peak days and times.

When it comes to the menu, this year's H Tasting Lounge dome dining is seafood-forward, but there are also several vegetarian options and the fan-favourite Tomahawk steak available. An interactive dessert features "a liquid nitrogen-dipped rose clapped over a deconstructed black forest cake," according to H Tasting Lounge.

Reservations for Winterlust open up at 3 p.m. on Oct. 20 and can be made online via Tock.
