For the holidays this year, Starbucks premiered a new flavoured latte, and now for Canadian fans, they're using that new flavour in a drink you can only find in the Great White North.

The mega chain's new Juniper Flat White combines the popular Flat White espresso drink with Starbucks' Juniper flavour, which offers wintry, woodsy notes of juniper (what makes gin have that earthy herbal flavour) and sage.
Although Starbucks is offering a Juniper Latte, the Flat White is made differently, namely in the style of espresso shot and the use of "micro-foam."
Using a ristretto shot, in which the "the barista pulls only the first portion of a full-length espresso shot, meaning less water is pushed through the grounds," explains Starbucks, the Flat White then has a thin layer of micro foam for a light, creamy topping. All that and Juniper, too.
