If you've missed going to Granville Island over the past pandemic year, there's now a way to have a piece of the island at home.

Sorry, that's pieces.

As in puzzle pieces; the Granville Island Delivery Company has partnered with cartoonist Lorne Craig to create 500-piece puzzles of the Vancouver landmark.

“Jigsaw puzzles had a great boom in popularity throughout the pandemic,” says Michelle Ng, founder of Granville Island Delivery Co., in a press release. “This jigsaw puzzle is a way for us to promote the community we are part of, and their businesses, and share the excitement of Granville Island as people start to return to this iconic destination.”

The puzzle features businesses and people from the Granville Island community. On top of that, people can have themselves added.

“We have people send a photo with their order,” says Craig in the release. “Then we draw them in and they get to have the fun of looking for their little self somewhere among the 500+ pieces. We also send them the original caricature drawing, suitable for framing with a small frame.”

The regular puzzles are $40, the custom version with the caricature included are $250.
