The fire is at a building on a busy Mount Pleasant block

A fire early Monday morning (Nov. 6) has closed off a portion of Main Street in Mount Pleasant.

Southbound Main Street between 21st and 22nd avenues is closed as Vancouver Fire Rescue Services works on what is being described as a small structure fire on the block.

According to an area resident, the fire is at or near the Fish Counter, a decade-old seafood restaurant, which is located at 3825 Main St.
