A waterfront hotel in one of B.C.'s most popular tourist destinations is up for sale.
The Paddler's Inn in Tofino has hit the market for $4.2 million. The little hotel has five rooms, though some of the space could be turned into a residence, notes the real estate listing, in case any Metro Vancouver residents were looking to relocate.
Along with the accommodation, there's a coffee shop (the Harbourview Coffeehouse) and a gift and outdoors store on the main floor. At the same time, the hotel currently has kayak tours running from it, using the beach out back as a launch into the waters of the Clayquot Sound.
The Paddler's Inn is in what was the first hotel in Tofino, according to its website. The building itself is quite old; photos show as Hotel Tofino in 1936.
"This historic property has welcomed generations of travellers and locals, witnessing the town’s transformation from a remote fishing village to a world-renowned destination," reads the listing.
