BMX ACTION!

BMX ACTION!

I've always driven by this spot and felt sad that I couldn't skate it, it's just a bit too rough. So when I drove by the spot on the weekend and saw this, I had to stop to take a couple photos.
Second Beach Pool

Second Beach Pool

While my first love is swimming in our amazing ocean (I have yet to follow Calen's lead ), there is also something super awesome about swimming in a huge pool right beside the ocean.

Vancouver Zombie Walk 2009

Yesterday the zombies were out in brain-eating force. I didn't count, but it seemed like a couple thousand zombies took to the streets, starting at The Vancouver Art Gallery. See tons of more photos on flickr .

VANCOUVER AS "A MUSEUM WITHOUT THE WALLS":WHAT IS THE VANCOUVER BIENNALE?

Over the next couple of years the Vancouver International Biennale will be creeping it's way into our city.
THE OTHER LIONS FROM VANCOUVER

THE OTHER LIONS FROM VANCOUVER

I think there must have been something in the building codes for the city in the past that said if you built a Vancouver Special (click HERE to see what a Vancouver Special is if you're not quite sure) you either had to have those strange egg/articho
