Those with a view of Vancouver's False Creek were treated to something a little extra Thursday evening

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's...the neighbour's trampoline?!

Local cinematographer Jeric Sangalang decided to hit downtown Vancouver's streets with the intent of, "capturing the beauty of the city under the sunset light."

Photographer Shawn Talbot says he created the video for posterity: "Someday, 50-100 years from now Kelowna will look back at what a strange time this was."

“It’s really hard to be so close but so far, but it’s nice to have a little bit of hope in such a hard time, and it’s a little bit better than FaceTime.” 

Shon Wong, a musician and personal trainer from Burnaby, wrote the song "I Found it All Inside" and recorded it with the band Son of James to “bring awareness to the issue.”

The minute-long animated story follows a teenage boy as he witnesses his world shutting down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, before ending with an encouraging reminder.

Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley and Coun. Joe Keithley – a.k.a. D.O.A. frontman Joey Shithead – teamed up to compose their new song, "We’re All in This Together."

The band released renditions of Tina Turner's "Simply the Best" and Bruno Mars' "Locked out of Heaven" as a way to "stay connected and keep making music" during COVID-19.
