To the editor: Re: "Letter of the Week," July 1. Courier letter writer Paul Richards' bad experience with the Jehovah Witnesses has nothing to do with the Falun Gong philosophy.

To the editor: The greatest enemy of knowledge is not even ignorance but it is the illusion of knowledge that creates misunderstanding among people like namecalling, defamation and the persecution of Falun Gong.

To the editor: I have been a Falun Gong practitioner for 12 years and have healed life-long issues with family members through its teaching of responsibility and universal respect and kindness.

To the editor: Re: "Cash or grass... nobody plays for free," July 6. Really folks, don't you have anything more important to do this summer than complain about uncut park grass! As usual Sandra Thomas has missed the point or told a very bad joke.

To the editor: I'm not Chinese, I'm Canadian and I can say that the founder is a good person, I've personally seen him several times. Paul Richards is spreading pretty harsh misinformation about the founder and his teachings.
