A couple weeks ago my friend Elizabeth and I dined at Main Street's GRUB (4328 main st) for the first time and we were both pleasantly surprised! With a smaller fixed menu and a daily fresh sheet, there is plenty to choose from.

Ever since I've known my wife she's been telling me this story about how when she lived on Fraser she "used to always go to this place near 50th Ave where you could get 4 samosas for a buck!!!". I'm always like "Man, those were the days.

The city's tastiest weed is just about in season....blackberries! I'm putting together my kit too, old snowboard gear and a step ladder. Now all I need are some spots....

The Zakkushi on Main and King Ed is their 3rd location. I had never been to either though if you've strolled along Denman, their first location i think, you've gone by it many times.

Image courtesy of Taste of Hon's This place is located right near my office and hands-down it is one of the best and most affordable places to eat in Downtown Vancouver. The portions are big, the taste is unbelievable and all prices are under $10.
