Vancouver Now & Then: The Marlboro Apartments, 1928 and 2020

The West End apartment building hasn't changed much in the near-century since it was built.

The Marlboro Apartments at Jervis and Pendrell in Vancouver's West End date back to the late 1920s.

This 1928 image shows the Marlboro in the last stages of completion, and as you can see it hasn't changed much over its 94-year life.

It was built by one of the Lightheart Brothers, prolific builders of apartment buildings in the West End. This building is located at Jervis and Pendrell.
