And while gas prices have dropped in B.C., prices have also fallen in the city of Vancouver. As of 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, six Vancouver stations are offering gas for as little as 97.9 cents per litre.

At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11., a few gas stations in Vancouver were showing prices as low as 125.9 cents per litre. However, prices continued to fall, and, as of 4:20 p.m. later that day, one gas station was showing 119.9 cents per litre - the Super Save at 1317 E 12th Ave and Clark Drive. As of 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, however, gas prices in Vancouver had fallen as low as 115.9 cents per litre.

By March 19, gas prices had fallen a whopping 15 cents down to 99.9 cents per litre at the Chevron at 2918 Kingsway and Killarney Street. As of Friday, March 20 at 10:15 a.m., four gas stations were offering the 99.9 cents per litre deal in Vancouver

On March 10, Dan McTeague, President, Canadians for Affordable Energy, formerly of GasBuddy.com, predicted that gas prices would drop a whopping eight to 10 cents in a single day on Wednesday, Mar. 10

Gas prices are also falling across the rest of Canada, with many stations selling well below 80 cents per litre. In fact, McTeague expected gas prices to drop to 76.9 cents per litre in the Greater Toronto Area, as well.
