"Vancouver IS awesome, I lived there for 7 years. So I was making this ultra cheese slide show for a friend when I came across your scavenger hunt. I performed at expo86 as a representative of the Peace River Region of BC, where I lived at the time.

Though we're not involved with or tied to VANOC or any 2010 Olympic organizers or monies in any capacity whatsoever, we have always been pro-2010-Olympiad here at V.I.A.

In case you missed it I put out THIS CALL for Expo 86 artifacts not long ago and have since gotten a couple responses. Gary Warren Hubbs just sent in this one...

"Hey... Does this count? We found it at an antique store in gastown. Sincerely, Luke and Elly" For sure that counts! Thanks for sending in response to THIS scavenger hunt I posted... anybody else got souvenirs?

I put out THIS CALL last week for Expo 86 artifact photos and soon after I got an e-mail from Skye Nott who is actually working on a photo documentary of all of these artifacts.

About a year and a half ago, when this site was in it's infancy and about 10 people checked it out each week, SR put out a call for an EXPO 86 scavenger hunt.

It's official : less than two weeks until you'll be taking the Skytrain to the airport or other Richmondly and South Vancouver locations. Like Oakridge theatre ! Or even just Yaletown to Cambie. Awesome.

Am I out of touch because I didn't know that Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog already teamed up for a video game for Beijing 2008? Whatevs! I'm just stoked they're coming together for THIS 2010 game. Woah...
