We received the letter below from an anonymous source this weekend, explaining those red umbrellas you may have spotted along the seawall! - BK "We are writing to you as anonymous Vancouverites with a request.

It's not often that I get actual letters in my email inbox. As the editor of V.I.A.

I got a fantastic letter today from Geoff Vreeken that harkens back to a POST that Jennilee made back in September of 2009 and the now-two-year-old installation on top of the Rennie Gallery , a block down from V.I.A.'s office.

I wrote a letter on behalf of V.I.A. in support of The Cheaper Show today. If you don't feel like reading it allow me to paraphrase: they rule.
