To the editor: It seems as if the "milk of human kindness" has not streamed through to the citizens of our "world-class" city.

A friends father once said that it takes only two items to solve a lot of problems. When something moves that shouldnt, use duct tape. When something doesnt move that should, use 10W-40 oil.

To the editor: Re: "MP defends early closing of Kits Coast Guard base," Feb. 22.

To the editor: MP Wai Young certainly knows community centres and I appreciate her intervention on a civic matter. Unfortunately Ms. Young does not know the Coast Guard, Search and Rescue or the marine community.

To the editor: I write in response to MP Wai Young's comments defending the Conservatives' decision to close the Kitsilano Coast Guard Station. With respect, I could not disagree more.

Errr... not exactly Id like to correct Paul Richards on a few points he made regarding the Comox/Helmcken greenway route (Bike lane vs. bike lane, Feb. 14).
