BEWARE! This lady will be posted up all weekend on Main Street around 19th Avenue selling Chilliwack corn at 6 cobs for 4 dollars. The corn is of the Peaches and Cream variety, she is armed with many bags of it and it is ridiculously sweet and juicy.

It seemed just like yesterday SR posted this , which to us marked the end of an era for the best burger place on Kingsway....ever.

Better question...what don't they deep fry at the PNE? The cornucopia of food which the PNE offers is second to none, it will mess you up good.

As an added example of Vancouver possibly being the best single city for pan-Asian food and in addition to Jef Choy's recent T&T post as well, check out the T&T food court at the Metrotown location.

I like the idea of hitting up the butcher, the produce place, a bakery all within a couple blocks when I shop. Vancouver's got tons of great areas to do this like Commercial Drive, West 4th, Broadway, and close to where I live on Hastings.

Though the Vietnamese steez of pho would def have the largest number of eateries around town within the noodle & soup scene, KINTARO RAMEN has made quite an establishment of itself on Denman (and its apparently been around for a decade now).
